Testimonials
"Cora Care and its President Melissa Sprouse Browne stand heads above the rest of the caregiving community in Columbia. Her organization is plugged in at the state and local level, allowing it to be a great resource for those, like me, who want to be sure my parents are cared for in a safe, secure and meaningful way in their own home. The staff is respectful and trained with a direct line to her should any unforeseen problems arise. This is a comfort to those being cared for and for we who care for them.
"If you are considering the short term or long term care of your loved ones in their own home, I suggest you give Cora Care a call."

"Three years ago, my brother was diagnosed with early dementia at the young age of 60. Two years later, I realized that he was progressing faster and that he was going to need more care than I could give him. I started the process of him receiving financial assistance and looking for a facility that could provide for his needs. After a year with many hours of prayer, calling on the phone, searching the internet and visiting on foot, I was no closer to finding a place. Then, I received a letter saying he was approved for financial assistance and I had 30 days to place him in an approved facility or lose the funds. They didn't provide a list of approved facilities, so I panicked.
With tears in my eyes, I again searched my computer and up popped a website, saying they help families find care for loved ones. Thinking, why not, I called and spoke with Melissa. She immediately said they could help and explained about the letter and stated, they had better get busy. I asked what her fee was and she said they didn't charge families for helping.
Melissa asked me questions about my brother and the next day I received an email with a list of facilities that might fit my brother. This email was followed up with a phone call, wanting to know when I would like to visit some of the places they had found. I met them at Cora Care and they drove me to facilities they had called that could accommodate my brother, walking me through the process. A week later, as I am moving in my brother, they showed up with a goodie bag for my brother, emotional support for me and hands offering to help.
Three weeks later, they are still checking on us. My brother is settled in and really likes his place and I am at peace, knowing he is getting the care he needs. Thank you, you were the answer to my prayer. God Bless You!"
