Services
When you first begin to investigate the field of senior care, you will hear a lot about the "activities of daily living." What are these activities? Well, they are the basics of everyday life and are separated into six distinct categories, including hygiene (dressing, grooming, bathing, shaving and oral care); toileting (continence issues); eating (the ability to feed oneself) and transferring (moving actions, such as transitioning from a seated to a standing position, getting in and out of bed).
Certain chronic illnesses can interfere with the ability to perform ADLs; our staff is ready to assist if your parent needs help. Please give us a call at 803-791-8086 to find out more.
