About Us

As we grow older, everyone will be touched in some way by the issues of elder care. It is a never-ending maze of doctors, specialists, health care choices, hospice, estate planning, benefits and stress. You find yourself asking so many questions, none of which has an easy answer. How do you know if your parent needs an assisted living facility or skilled nursing care, or even what the distinctions between those two levels are? How do you know if your parent needs end-of-life care from hospice? Can you provide adequate care in the home without having to make a move to a senior living community? How do you convince your parent that it’s not safe for him to drive anymore? How do you protect the family assets while maintaining eligibility for government benefits? How do you pay for it all?
At Cora Care, LLC, we understand what it takes to care for your aging parent. We offer a selection of services for senior care, tailoring our options to meet the needs of families who need professional non-medical assistance in the home, as well as those families who want to learn how to care for a parent themselves.
If you need help in caring for a family member, call Cora Care, LLC at 803-791-8086. It will be an honor to assist you.
"I remember thinking when I was a child how lucky I was because my parents were older. My father was 55 years old when I was born, so my parents were a bit older than most of my peers. It was a blessing to have the privilege of wonderful parents who taught me so much and set an incredible example for me. And, I hope, I turned out to be a blessing for them, as I had the honor of caring for them in the last years of their lives.
I've always felt the calling to senior care. After writing my book, The Caregiver's Training Program, I thought perhaps that was all I was supposed to do. But God had better plans and in 2011, I followed the call and opened my first home care company, Seniors First Home Care, with my retirement account. It was a huge step out in faith, but it turned out to be a tremendous blessing. In late 2016, I received and accepted an offer from a company who wanted to merge my firm with a national franchise.
After the sale, I missed working with seniors every day and found a different way to help: using my real estate license to help seniors who need to make a move, downsize or otherwise sell or purchase property to make life easier. Now that my non-compete requirement has been met, I'm thrilled to return to senior care in a meaningful way through home care AND real estate!
With Cora Care, we are able to help seniors stay in their homes and even assist when families need help at senior living facilities or sitting with a loved one in the hospital. My pledge is always to give our best to your family, each and every day."
