Our mission is to provide home care and placement services that meet the physical, emotional and social needs of our clients and their families while always remembering to treat each person as we want to be treated ourselves: like family, with respect and dignity.
Change can be difficult, especially when your senior loved one needs to move to a senior living community. Families can become overwhelmed at the numerous types of communities – assisted living, independent living, memory care or skilled nursing – and they need information to know what kind of community is best for their family member. The transition of moving can be very stressful and emotional for you and your loved one and we want to help!
SC Senior Placement Options are available at no cost to families. We can help you with the complex tasks of assessing, searching and selecting the best possible senior housing solution for your loved one.

Why are we called Cora Care? Honoring our the legacy of our loved ones is important. The Sprouse family was filled with wonderful members, including my aunt and uncle, Cora and Astor Sprouse. I remember many happy times with this lovely couple, as they were always laughing and bringing joy to everyone around them. What better way to honor the memory of such special people than to memorialize her as our namesake.

"Cora Care and its President Melissa Sprouse Browne stand heads above the rest of the caregiving community in Columbia. Her organization is plugged in at the state and local level, allowing it to be a great resource for those, like me, who want to be sure my parents are cared for in a safe, secure and meaningful way in their own home. The staff is respectful and trained with a direct line to her should any unforeseen problems arise. This is a comfort to those being cared for and for we who care for them. |
